Second Ascent Twilight Bicycle Race

Date: June 9, 2007 - Saturday

Location: Ballard, WA (Start/finish at Ballard Ave. NW & 20th Ave. NW)

Course Description: 1 Kilometer - 4 corner Criterium course on city streets. On a slight side hill.

Cost: $25 per race for USCF licensed rides. Pro 1 & 2's $30 entry

Prizes: Will be cash and merchandise as indicated on the race flyer.

Registration: Registration will be at start/finish area day of event only. USCF license required to race. One day license for category 5 men and 4 women is $10 and available at the race. To race in category 3 races and above you must have an USCF annual license ($60) which can be purchased at www.usacycling.org only (not for sale at the race).

Race Nnumbers: WSBA numbers will be used and can be purchased at www.wsbaracing.com (not for sale at the race). Rental numbers available at the race for a $10 rental fee (of which $5 is refundable). For out-of-state riders there is no fee to rent a number just a $5 deposit. Bib numbers will go on your RIGHT side.

Notes: The category 5 men's race is limited to the first 50 riders who register on the day of the event.

Directions:

From Hwy. 99 - Take the NW 46th St. exit and go West towards Ballard. This will turn into NW market St. Go to Leary Way and take a left. Registration and parking will be on your right at 20th Ave NW and Ballard Ave. NW.

From I-5 - Take the 85th St. N. exit north of Seattle. Follow this west to 15th Ave. NW and take a left. Go to NW Market St. and take a right. Follow this to Leary Way and take a left. Registration and parking will be on your right at 20th Ave NW and Ballard Ave. NW.

Other Information: ALL USCF RULES WILL BE ENFORCED! ALL RIDERS MUST SIGN A WAIVER AND WEAR AN USCF APPROVED HELMET! USCF PERMIT #Pending
